I was CoS when I went there to check to see if we could get back in ToS by means of Kormir statue without having to repeat the last mission every time. To make it short end game armor you can only hold so much gold unless you go with some you trust, other wise you have to do the mission again just to get back there to craft matching headgear. What I was trying to say is that I don’t recall if my region had favor or not when I checked at CoS.

How is Avarre wrong? She never said they have a use. And the reason why people aren't trading contracts in for diamonds is because rubies are the most valuable therefore the most money. Now if diamonds were used to make armor and their value was let's say 6k, people (Intelligent ones now) would still trade contracts in for rubies.

That's a really ridiculous comparison. An Elite Mission and a friggen Guild Hall are two completely different things. But yes, I would much rather have access to the elite mission through the Gate of Torment. This would not require favor nor facing any other obstacle other then game completion to enter. But if that isn't the case I would at least like some form of entrance to Anguish if my area doesn't have favor and if that way would be through killing Abaddon then so be it.

I agree it was a ridiculous comparison, but it only serves to highlight the fact that apart from completion of the game (defeating Abaddon) once, you got to wait for your region to have favor to enter the Elite mission is...ridiculous.

Before that happens, i will be soon to be adding several more postcounts to my humble account in this thread and the ensuring Hate thread that would spawn from favor being used for Elite mission entry.

This elite mission is coming out pretty quick, I thought it would take months, anyhow looking forward to it, new amour upgrades/weapons! I can see the little town now, with 100+ districts waiting for the opening.

I don't think it will require favor. Statue of Kormir has always looked same, even with favor - no sparkling elfs jumping around statue. Although of course that might change with the coming update.

If it would require favor I'm pretty Anet would have mentioned it as well.

Jackie, You can only Spawn Kormir if you /kneel When you have favour.

And as for what the limited discription said, I beleive that You need to have favour to Enter the outpost, then you can just load then regardless of favour or not.

Think of it as HzH and Urgoz's Warren, Or Cavalon and The Deep,

Then think That "You need favour to go from HzH to Urgoz, but if you loose favour, you will still spawn in the Warren"

Thats just my specualtion, seeing as they said there will be "Four different areas" (So I am thinking it is on a scale similar to the UW) So, Outpost with 4 Different Exits?

Yeah that was my bad.

It would sound a little bit absurd though "Domain of Anguish opens this weekend", players roll the update and notice that they can't go explore because some other region has the favor.

It would cause so much bitter talk especially if one is not playing in Europe/America districts.

I'm still keeping positive thoughts about it.

Incorrect. Diamonds are purchased / traded for with contracts for the same reason people bought rubies, sapphires, and monstrous items in chapter one - speculation. When diamonds do have a use, the immensely limited supply is likely to make them a good investment.

Unless they are added as a more commonly found material somewhere later, as I mentioned in the post you disputed.

Am I the only one that thinks that you can't even use LB Gaze on monsters inside domain of anguish? Since Abbadon after finishing the game is defeated, shouldn't his minions stop appearing?

Maybe they will allow you to inscribe your old weapons, or maybe the novel weapons are new green weapons of every skin, like green fellblades, chaos axes or even crystalline swords.

That'd suck, cause it'd be an ugly Crystalline sword then. They are pretty cause they have gold writing. It's all personal preference though. I'm excited regardless, seems they were smart enough to add in something before I got to bored.

I'm thinking novel weapons will be extremely ornate weapons much like green weapons but with the ability to edit their mods and inscriptions. They would come max req. 8 or 9 always.
